My daily tracking expense ๐Ÿ”—

Every day from 2021 until now 2024, I always tracking my expense on daily basis. Let’s say it took me 30 minute each day and 5 days a week, for 3 years, thats 23.400 minute. And I can easly speend more that 30 minute each day.

Today at 2024, I decide to stop this madness for peace of mind.

Semi automation ๐Ÿ”—

Too fully automated my finance it’s quite complex borderline not possible because of my bank. So I decide to become a “robot”, by writing specific thing I need to do every payroll

The Semi-Automated Plan ๐Ÿ”—

  • Payroll Distributions:
    • On payday, my salary will be allocated as follows:
    • Investment Funds: Contributions to Emergency, Retirement, and Education Funds via Bibit.
    • Housing Expenses: A portion transferred to my wife for managing our housing costs.
    • Debt and Credit Card Payments: Full payments made immediately.
    • Social Expenses: Allocation to a specific Jago pocket.
    • Yearly Expenses: Accumulation for rent, annual, and fun budgets in another Jago pocket.
  • Credit Card Automation:
    • Routine expenses like fuel, subscriptions, and utilities (PDAM, Internet) will be paid via credit card for automation.

Execution Strategy ๐Ÿ”—

My new financial management routine is condensed to payday. By executing all tasks on this single day, I free myself from the daily chore of tracking each expense.

I anticipate this approach will significantly reduce my daily financial stress and save me about an hour each day. This time can be better spent on more rewarding activities, offering both efficiency and peace of mind.
